No, you're dead wrong. My point is that being shot down and taken prisoner does not a "war hero" make. Many men have been shot down and POWs. I commend their service and sacrifice, and his, but that does not make him a war hero, not does it make him qualified in any way to be president. By all accounts, he was below average student, an erratic, hot-headed pilot, who was self centered and dangerous. He is still dangerous.
