  • Maybe...two years ago, I was talking to my pal about rude customers at work, and how some employees are bothered by that. I said "just because someone shows me their ugly face, doesn't mean I have to put on mine, I'm going to keep being happy and looking good" Is that a less eloquent way of saying "bearing the unpleasant manifestations of others"?

  • exactly right

  • James, how does one help children keep self-remembrance (and not identify with the little self, as they begin to learn their name and see themselves as "separate" beings, egos?) Have you a video on exercises for children ages 2-6 for example?

    Namaste

  • Begin slowly and age appropriatly...teach them not to become too "self-important" aand self-absorbed...explain how not to be overcome by the influence of others -to develope a "self-reference" attitude and to not "lose themselves" in that which 'parades' before their eyes

  • This guy apears to be somewhat confused as to the meaning of Don Juans message. Attention to Attention is important however, so I give him points for that. Beyond that I reconmend listening to guy preaching meditation. Get into that and you will have no desire to trade jabs on a youtube forum. Is that part of your quest for knowledge and power. None of you have gained what you claim to. If you had you would never be arguing on this board. That goes for this guy Traitz, too.

  • You're right, Truthseeker. This guy claims all sorts of knowledge, but all he really has is a bunch of mixed up ideas from a number of sources; then claims it's his work. What a tool. He thinks he knows fast particle physics, but when I asked him who he studied with, he got all up in my face for daring to ask the question. The answer is; he never studied sub-atomic physics with anyone. He read some books. That's like reading a driver's manual and claiming to know how to build a car.

youtube partitions works that have a deeper level.

Short videos bode well for the masses anyway though.

I think he is just being generous in sharing.

He must pile on the sharing so the tree can be seen in the forest.

Please feel free to direct me to the part that leads to the deeper level in a book. Sincerely.

Quote the page and I will follow.

  • You need to view the work at a deeper level.

  • This is real interesting. I read the Power of Now about observing the self, so i guess double attention is the same. I often get stuck in the mind when emotional states arise and it's like another me experiences it all, suffering and fretting. Then i look back and wonder why i allowed myself to slip into that state. It's so hard, especially when you get insulted or feel self conscious.

    A wannabe warrior!!
