  • Satch was in Deep Purple? killer solo in this tune too

  • Yes, he was part of Deep Purple's Mark VI for almost a year between 1993 and 1994 after Blackmore left the band for the last time. He toured with the band and was asked to stay due to the success they had but he just had signed a contract for his solo career so Morse was hired. There's some cool bootlegs you will be able to find in case you want.

He also was part of Mick Jagger's solo band.

  • saw them last night live fucking rocked my socks off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @newmexicobluesboy It took me a while but man I'm on board with you . I love this lineup. I think Chad Smith is the flippin bomb!!

  • @BaneOfXistence4 I was thinking the same thing until I remembered Kashmir ! lol ...

  • Satch loves the Phrygian mode !! This song kicks ass

  • GET IT UP!!!!!!!!!

  • I fucking love this band!!!!!:)

  • @chimpmonkey101 It sounds to me that Metallica used demos that they didn't have anything to use with it and let Lou talk over it. A lot of people are saying it sucks and I'm kinda put off by it because those same people, I can bet ya, don't know anything about the source material for the lyrics. I've only read about what the "Lulu" plays are about, but I don't anymore than that about them so I'm reserving judgement until I can find better research on it.

  • @uofm97 I have no idea man, Saint Anger, then DM and then Lulu, sigh

Lulu sounds very forced, like some retard got an idea in their head to pull it off, and despite all sense pointing otherwise they just keep at it! :/

  • @chimpmonkey101 Yeah.......it sounded good on paper, but when I heard a clip of one of the songs, I was struck by how out-of-place Lou's voice sounded with James and Kirk's riffing. Not sure how good it's gonna be now.
