Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - Thunder Roll Command Charge and Atmos Break

Now people can stop asking how to get Thunder Roll!!!!! (Skip to 0:54 if you don't want to see the fun times with the Atmos Break Command.) When I was answering questions before, I suggested that crystals not be used when creating the Command. However, it seems now that it's more of a random thing that the result will be something other than Thunder Roll. Whatever the case may be, just be wary that there is a possibility that if you use an item during the synthesis process, you may not get it.

Also, the reason that synthing Action Commands like Thunder Roll, Fire Glide, etc., may not work is that it seems like you need multiple quantities of the Action Command (Dodge Roll, Glide, Reflect Guard, etc.) before the player can place it into a slot during Command Charging.

(Notice I had 3 Dodge Rolls and 2 Stun Guards?)

On top of this, both the level of the other Command you're using as well as the dodge, glide, or guard Command must be at Master level.

About Atmos Break: Since there was some pondering about the move Aqua used in the Jump Festa 2010 trailer, I decided to show it done with Ventus. :B Unfortunately, I couldn't get any enemies to drift around in the field since they all died so quickly.

Also, it sucks when enemies can disrupt skills. -__-;

I learned that thunder roll fails to dodge SOME attacks from bosses.

@o0SoRaXaS0o Erm, sorry to reply 3 times, but looking back, normal attacks don't fill the gauge much at all.

Fastest way is to beat him at the annoying clashes. 4 or so of them and your command gauge will be full. Good luck.

@o0SoRaXaS0o ...bcause you can't heal at this point. But don't stay away for too long or your command gauge will start to go down. If you get caught up in a clash with him, try to button bash faster or spin faster than him or your HP will suffer XD.

So yah use some of the exclusive commands you get with Vanitas D-Link as well, cus they fill the gauge faster. Then when, it's full.

Press x to use Last Word finisher. Boom.

I didn't even lock on and it killed him XD

@o0SoRaXaS0o In the english versions, it's called Trancendence and you get it by melding ZeroGraviga with a MagnetSpiral.

But you don't need it to beat Vanitas.

For the second part. You forge a D-Link with Vanitas. To beat him, all you need to do it use a finishing move on him. and as with all D'Links, you need to fill the command gauge to get the finishing move. Hit him with commands or normally, to keep your gauge goin up, but after every combo you do move away from him to miss his attack.
