  • Out of curiosity, do you have plans on re-doing any of your early vids into the HD quality? In addition, do you have any plans to film Indianapolis area freeways?

  • @jcrockett001 Both, eventually. Don't really get over to this part of Chicago much when I'm up here. I'd like to get down to Indianapolis eventually, probably filming I-65 and I-70.

  • What? what is the deal with the toll booth? No EZPass? Nice ride except for the toll lol

  • @vbdenny Oh sorry I forgot about your comment (1 month late) well we were going to get an I-pass but then we are moving. Personally I think it makes it a bit interesting. (lol) They do accept the EZpass in Illinois, but I don't think they do in Texas. Since we live right by a few toll roads and they will be a part of our everyday lives (we are moving to Austin in a week), we will be getting a TxTag, then you can experience 'open road tolling' from the FreewayTitan. :)

  • Nice video.

Ha! The music from the Geico commercials (lol).

    2:39 - $0.80? That's an odd number.

  • @Bryant5493 $.80 for a toll? how much are they in the south on toll roads?

  • This is a road I hope I will be experiencing a lot of lately(88 that is) Great vid as always!

  • 0:59 - 1:10 on the LH side is usually a laser trap run by a brunette with a Stalker LZ1.

  • I-355 mile 15.6 75th St.

I-355 now continues south of I-55 to I-80. used to end at I-55 when I lived in Chicago.

  • mile markers on tollways are now posted every 1/4 mile with the direction of travel and interstate shield as opposed to every 1/2 mile without the interstate shield and direction travel. I first noticed this on the Tri State Tollway on 12-30-09 on my vacation in the Chicago area. I-94 Tri State now uses mile markers counting down as you go up to Wisconsin (25-0) instead of the old (53-77) mile marker continuation going up on northbound Tri-State as 294 becomes 94.

  • I-88 speed limit

    WB 65 mph mile 113.2

    EB 55 mph mile 115.2

  • Good vid!!....Thanks for the ride.

  • $ 1 doesn't seem much, but if you have 100,000 AADT it'll bring $ 36,5 million per year in revenue (probably more because trucks pay higher tolls).
