The actual (original) “The Last Time” by The Rolling Stones, sounds very little like The Verve version.

Not sure where my husband found it but it was the Andrew Oldham Orchestra version of The Last Time from his Rolling Stones Songbook. It is a great song, isn't it? It worked so well that I can't find a song that even comes close for this years' slideshow.
