Well surely the underground isn't that pricey, isn't it cheaper to pay with an Oyster card anyway? Besides, you can just get a card that allows you to go anywhere on the tube for a day for 5 quid.

"I don't see someone paying cash on the bus more than once a month"
I'm not from London, but I go there, and I wasn't even aware that there was an alternative payments system on the bus.
Also, how often do you get on the bus Ken, honestly?

"I don't see someone paying cash to use a bus more than once a month"?
What a ridiculously ignorant statement.

hahaha what a crap answer... even he couldn't avoid the fact that they've gone up. Maybe the odd person was paying £1 before.. but for most it's gone up to 90p/£2 or more (even thought his propagnda newspaper told us for 3 months in a row they were going down)
I see people paying cash every time I'm on the bus - the bus often has to stop at a paypoint and wait for them while they buy a ticket because they couldn't get one at the stop they were on and the driver isn't allowed to sell them one!
