  • @yellowarmy19 How can Bankers NOT be responsible for Fraud against mortgages when their balance sheets show that 60% of borrowers were not paying back the loans, and they continued to lend without any changes to policy - while earning excessive renumerations from it? If you were a business presenting such a balance shee to a bank, what do you think they'll say? Fraud was about taking advantage of the weaknesses. This is FACT! Not a question! You have to do more homework. It is not a myth!!

  • @samms2007 Apolgies for the last sentence, I meant that bankers fraud is a myth.

I'm not saying bankers aren't responsible for the recession, they're involved with almost everything to do with economy in this country. What I am saying, is that they are not 'guilty' of anything, they never did anything particularly wrong, just the same job they did for years before.

Nothing much changed, they've always worked long hours and recieved large bonuses, etc. Why, then, are they getting so much abuse?

  • That was not being attacked?! Twas a group hug ;)

  • @yellowarmy19 I don't understand your last sentence. Are you saying that Bankers fraud is a myth or is true? I must also tell you, I don't simply look at the TV screen, or read the paper, I read in between the lines - looking at US and UK sites and form an intelligent decision. If you are saying that bankers are NOT responsible for creating the recession, then who is. The Politicians? Politicians are responsible for their soft-touch regulation - leaving the door wide open for bankers abuse!!

  • This was all a publicity stunt for Mr.Murdoch, how the heck does one get a plate of shaving cream into there? second, it's all set up to make everyone think that Murdoch is just an innocent old man that doesn't deserve a pie to the face.

  • @tboi121 You mean James Murdoch?

  • The bloke at the start cracks me up 'this is an outrage'

  • That should sell some newspapers I reckon.

  • A pie in the face is nothing compared to the pain he caused to the families of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman through his greed for money and a 'good story'. You should thank your lucky stars Murdoch that this is England and the citizens here do not have access to firearms because i'm sure that if this was the USA, it wouldn't have been a foam pie staring you in the face. You have to sleep with your own conscience now Murdoch along with your gutless slimey son.

  • You hear a woman say "Outrageous" It's outrageous that this man continues to lie to parliament, to the police and to every victim of his phone hacking. A pie in the face is nothing compared to the pain this man has brought on families of killed soldiers in Afghanistan, the parents of Damilola Taylor, the family of Milly Dowler through Murdochs greed delayed the capture of her killer by giving police and her family false hope after hacking into her cell phone and deleting messages (Continued)
