The opening of the LYNX Blue Line was a watershed moment for progress, transportation, and technology in Charlotte, NC, and the southeast in general. In this video, we ride from I-485 to 7th St. Station and back. Music by http://www.myspace.com/deritastudio

  • If that's what that was, that's messed up.

  • I... guess.

  • They still are widening over in the great state of raleigh! There building 2 new beltways that cost enough to finish the LyNX 2030 plan now. 400,000,000 dollars total! Haha! What saps!

  • I thought a system was being built in the Research Triangle area already, no?

  • We NEED more! we owe mayor pat mccrory something for securing funds for this! He's definatly going to the govenor's office!

  • If they actually had the part of this that would go to the university area I would so actually use this. But chances are it wont be til like 2013.

  • I can't for my next visit to Charlotte. I'm parking the car in the nearest P&R lot, and doing the town light rail style.

Way to go, Charlotte...Wish some of that progressive success would rub off on this backwards, country bumpkin town, Birmingham.

  • cool
