I dont think anyone doubts DBSK's popularity is greater in Japan because its obvious after all the hits they've had & how long they've been promoting there. How is arirang insinuating that Big Bang is doing better THAN DBSK? they're doing extremely good for the short period that they've been there but they never even compared them to DBSK, your comment is more unfair actually and offensive than the video itself.

I just find it very unfair how they compare these two groups with each other. It's true that DBSK's popularity is on a higher level than BB's, but as you know - DBSK debuted 3 years before BB - of course they're more popular and have more fans. So people shouldn't hate on BB just because arirang is insinuating that BB's doing greater than DBSK. BB was working so hard for their success in Japan and they totally deserved those awards.

okay they are the top 2 groups of the years from 2004-2010 dbsk was the most popular group from 2004-2007 and exceeded every else groups's popularity by far but bigbang from 2007-2010 was the most popular group by far and even beat dbsk those years especially 2008.

Even still in the official korean fan number rankings, these two groups hold the top two spots

with dbsk being first and bigbang the second in history of kpop from the time this official system was made

Ahh please.. There is nothing to be argue of about who is better and who is more popular in Japan.. TVXQ is the senior and Big Bang respects them too, Both the members from the group are actually friends, so they never even comparing each other in terms of popularities, so why don't you all stop comparing??!!

They are all great artists that have gone through hard work.

They all deserve the awards.

Although I'm a VIP but I respect TVXQ too.

i'm a fan of both.

when i want to listen to RnB/HipHop i listen to my BB brothers. (even lies and haru2 makes me dance)

when i want to be serenaded i listen to my DBSK babies.(yes even listening to O, purple line, wrong number and Mirotic) the genre is different.. at some point (maybe) similar but both are great artist....
