  • why do these film producers even have the nerve to make such filth of a movie as this? this is degrading to the people of the counter-culture. this, mind you,..is just a movie from the perspective of a conformist suburban white boy. ...this is utter disgrace.

  • Well it can't be worse than Across the Universe, right? :P

  • The Guy at 0:19 looks like Roy from The Office.

  • Bill Clinton protested outside the US ambasy in Moscow too

  • If this is a movie it's a very realistic movie. Thanks to the young people for their comments. Burning your draft card was a brave thing to do. You could go to jail for a long time if you didn't show up when you were drafted.

  • Very well said.

  • my dad's friends both served in vietnam and proud of it

    101st AIRBORNE and 1st CAVALRY

    HOOAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they're burning their draft registration cards.

  • If America had not started the war, South Vietnam would have fallen into communism in 1954 and more Vietnamese would have been murdered in cultural revolutions like those launched by Mao in China (20 million deaths) & Khmer Rouge in Cambodia (2 millions)

Total Vietnamese democide by communists: 1,040,000 (1975-87) by HCR.

    Excutions: 100,000

    Camp Deaths: 95,000

    Forced Labor: 48,000

    Democides in Cambodia: 460,000

    Democides in Laos: 87,000

    Vietnamese Boat People: 500,000 deaths.

  • Ho chi Minh, Vietnam's communist leader, is a disguting TRAITOR & MURDERER! In exchange for chinese military aids in the war with France (1945-1954), he gave up Paracel & Spratly archipelagos with large oil resources to China. He even ordered to murder his own mistress named Nong thi Xuan when she threatened to disclose her sexual relationship with him since that would destroy his image as a "Father" of Vietnam who "sacrifices" his whole life for Vietnam revolution.

  • What did the hippies save anyone from?

  • yeah as if the protesters were all dressed up in suits. most of those guys were stoned
