Beamers can be used for jumping, but they don't have anything like the lift of the Blade. They're designed to be beginner-friendly general-purpose kites; too much lift would compromise that.
I have a 4m Beamer III, and have got air with it, but not much - it's mush easier (though less safe - be careful) with something like a Blade or an Arc.

Are Beamers good with jumps? I just got a 4m Beamer IV and was wondering if I could jump with it.

not sure that's true! Smaller kites move faster and have more whip for jumps, but the audio and vid is funny!
