Schemansky - Champion Part 1

no doubt one of the USAs GREATEST lifters lifting and medaling in 4 olympics beginning in 1948 where he took SILVER , 1952 he won GOLD , 1960 (after back surgery) he came back to take 3rd, and in 1964 at 38 years of age took bronze again. setting world records over a 20 years span , this guy was in a word awesome, pure natural strength , building bodyweight over decades to where (I feel) he was actually at his peak from 1962 thru 1965 ... So amazing! He is my great uncle. Only met him once as a young child but he made a huge impression on my brother and me. We lived very close to his brother, Jerome, and remember playing in the "trophy room" as kids. I still have one in my display case. So many astounding accomplishments...
