TEDxYouth@Amman - Bushra Ali - The Secret of Leaders .... 96 !

The more you read, the better developed your cognitive abilities are. The more you read, the more creative and imaginative you become. Reading improves your grasping skills and sharpens your analyzing and problem-solving abilities. Reading gives you knowledge, making you more confident. The more you read others' lives and experiences, a better decision-maker you become. The more you read, the better you get.
Bushra Ali is a fourth - year student of medicine at the University of Jordan , a social activist , passionate about reading and voluntary work .
She established with a group of her colleagues a reading club, Book Club no.96 . It's a reading club where people gather not to read a book only but to make reading a daily habit that brings pleasure , enhances the energies of the youth, helps them to try public speaking skills and encourages them to accept the cultural differences between people belonging to several civilizations as well .
One of the aims of Book Club no.96 team is to expand , commencing with Jordan and then to other Arab countries where they would promote reading as a tool to encourage the youth to widen their horizons and play a leading role in the future , as the team believes " the readers of today are the leaders of tomorrow !
