@Jennningzzz - any size titty will do - they want a nipple they can latch on to and a warm body that makes milk in response to their needs.

Babies want people to love each other and to share freely?

@djlookwood I must agree. There is something about a baby, they need input. Love. Peace. Nurture. But then, youend up with people like my child, who dislike lies, violence, phoniness, who do not fit in ! Still, I am grateful. What do we do with our children who care in an uncaring world?

teaching the baby hand signs is an amazing way to overcome the frustration a baby feels when they are trying to communicate. we did that with our son and today at 3 yrs, I can have a conversation with him! we have more to learn from them than they do from us
@djlookwood I agree with you. It is sad that the parents I know now are heavily inflluenced by the media. They just drop the kids off and go to work for a big house they can not afford, and to go party. They really have no grass roots, just ant-like activity and interaction. I do not fit in anymore, My Mom was born in 1915 and was so nurturing, also we had animals I learned to care for. When she grew up being Grama was an honor. IDK what is next.

@phnixlady Empathy is a biological imperative, and is totally natural, and the basis for empathy is in the child-mother bonding process, from conception through pregnancy into birth, infancy and through out life. A Nurturant Society will facillitate those natural processes that our biology determines as appropriate to learning a lived meaningful sense of empathy. We have to build that nurturing society at the grass roots. This has to be grwoth directed, not top down commanded.
