@ahsans786 Thank you very much, my friend. It's been a pleasure to share these videos, and there are PLENTY more to come. My personal life is starting to take shape, and I haven't been on YouTube nearly as much as I used to. I'm sure I have the races you mention, and will post them in the near future. Seeing that horrible scene in the '82 JCGC again is not one I look forward to, but it should be seen, as it was an important step in horse racing safety.

Shifty Sheik (the second finisher) was a classic case of a horse being "Oscarized." This was when Oscar routinely claimed horses and brought them way up in class before they went back down, though even after this Woodward, Shifty Sheik as I recall continued to be a very decent horse for some time.
