I really like the long and gradual buildups - I think it can't get any bigger, and it does. Then it turns around and starts over again, just like a wildly passionate romance... nice.

Reversed video ?! I don't think so. As for the pianist, almost everyone's style or preferences or improvising is objectionable by definition... but I wouldn't say he's not a musician (not to mention something like "he will never be a musician"). He is, indeed, a great player. Yes, I would make a shorter, simpler version, but we don't know how much they've rehearsed together. Anyway... I've enjoyed it a lot.

Did you notice the video is reversed? Look at the 'note crazy' pianist and the high notes are on the left. He is a musician, just not an accompanist yet. Yes I like this singer. As to piano support....this does NOT remind me of the musical magic between Nancy Lamott and her pianist Christopher Marlowe. They had divine magic. Christopher is a wise pianist with a legato line. Nancy Lamott was an angle indeed. In 1995 she began singing with the angels herself. Lucky Angels. John-Hans

I agree with taidlay - the singer is very good, but the piano player, who has had the enormous benefit of a musical education, is not, and never will be, a musician.

reminds me of Billie Holiday.Beautiful

Very nice.

amazing voice!!!!
I wanted to skip the attention seeking pianist, who did not work well with this exceptional singer - made me wonder what this version would have been with a more sensitive musician.
