As many people continue to lose their jobs, feel more pressure from the need for cash, see people losing their hopes in life due to the economy, see that the people elected to government (most of them) seem to not give a crap about Americans in general, while the "too big to fail" get bailed out and rip off the American public, Americans become more pissed and disgusted by what is going on in general...

  • Secession would keep people from higher inflation, taxes, and debt to come-more pros than cons. I support any state decision to secede.

  • I can see why; at least we wouldn't have to put with the current federal government, if the state successfully secedes.

  • thanx for this video. *******

  • You're welcome.

I hate all of this tyrannical bs.

  • The 2nd American Revolution is coming. Most of the jobs lost are due to laws passed by the Federal Government. The minimum wage hike during a Depression was stupid, it's prices a lot of Americans out of a job. The US has some of the highest corporate tax rates in the world. Also the Oshit Administration has shown no regard for property rights, corporations are fleeing in fear of being taken over. We should see the 1st state secede within the next 5 years.

  • Probably within 5 years. And I'm still recovering from listening to Lindsey Williams most recent DVDs...yikes!

Good job for thinking about all this stuff!

  • I'm a Mid-Westerner first, an American second.

  • I do highly doubt we will split as a nation. A currency collapse would have to happen first. Their are still not enough people affected by the current crisis. Just give it a little more time. Its well in the making.

  • Right now though Americans will not buy American products if they can buy cheaper products made by slaves. Not until every single American is faced with a currency crisis. At that point Americans will finally work for less than minimum wage or slave pay. The problem is it will take a complete collapse of this nation to turn it around. A little housing crisis is not enough.

  • The answer is a productive capacity here and Americans taking country of origin into consideration when buying products. Slowly bring us back to basic needs production. Then we can play the bigger games. An abrupt cut off would most definitely cause us to go to war. The truth is we'll never be able to pay back our debts especially without a productive capacity.

  • Here is the problem. If you tariff goods in countries that have US dollar holdings such as China you will have retaliation. They will stop buying any exports or threaten dropping more dollar holdings or worse yet get rid of the dollar as the reserve currency. So this is a much more complex issue. Your right in your thinking but the system is just too messed up and corrupt. Remember even raw materials come from China so no steel = no weapons.

  • Didn't Hoover do that in the 1930 and plunge the country into the great depression?!

    Wiki: SmootHawley Tariff Act

Please study economics, isolationism and xenophobia have always made harsh time MUCH worse.

  • I think most of the troops when it comes down to war within states won't kill a good American. Most guys in the armed forces are just as pissed as most of us and they can see what's snout to happen.
