An arbor would is a 'dream' - a 'someday' project after we retire. For many of us beginner's - these videos are a real blessing. I would never have known about layering - using different varieties to fill in an arbor - and the clematis suggestion - I would never have considered that either. Thanks for taking the time to do this post - I am off to start planning my rose arbor while sipping my tea :0)

"Cup of Tea ~ Pinky Raised" - you make me laugh. Great information as always.
Hi Paul, thank you very much for your great videos, they are both inspiring and helpful. In my back garden stands a very big twisted willow planted decades ago.
At the moment I'm looking for a fast growing, large climbing or rambler rose which should do well in partial sunlight. The idea is to get it up in the lower branches (which start at two meters from the ground), underneath which we sit in summer. Would you have any recommendations? All the best from far away Holland. - J
