No, thats not true. They destroyed this ride when they took it down and sold it for scrap.

@WhoIsTadhg Great Adventure took a lot of good rides down. They took down the free fall. They replaced the chiller with that joke called the dark knight coaster, and they took down the scream machine.

Hello blackwingedangel722: Thank You For Your Comment : ) Nothing Surprises Me At SFGA...I Have Been Going To SFGA From When They First Opened In 1976 Til 2004 & Noticed That SFGA Has A Trend Of "GETTING RID OF GREAT RIDES" It Woulld Not Surprise Me At All If They Get Rid Of Kingda Ka.....As Of This Moment (8-4-09) I See That Kingda Ka Another Great RideIs CLOSED (AS USUAL) Since June 2009. I Am Sooooo Sick Of Hearing Excuses About WHY Kingda Ka IS NOT OPENED.......

Such As Hit By Lightning, (Or) The Launch Mechanism Went Bad & They (SFGA) Are Still Waiting For Part's. SORRY TO SAY BUT SFGA DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE ANY GREAT RIDES BUILT THERE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN SFGA CAN NOT KEEP UP WITH THE MAINTENANCE & BY THE WAY BANKRUPTCY????? What The Hell Is That Crap??? Especially When The Owner Of The Washington Redskins Own's Part Of SFGA.....And His TEam Is Worth Over 1.587 BILLION DOLLARS. WHAT A $%^&*#$% WASTE!!!!!!
