This interview with Meryl Streep about Out of Africa was part of a documentary about Sydney Pollack. Enjoy!

  • Hey. I enjoyed the French luteinents woman!

  • @MrsLisaPotter Well, from your name I surmise that you are a woman and women generally enjoy sappy love stories like "Out of Africa." If my opinion is "weeeeird" to you, it's still my opinion and, weird or not, I'm sticking to it. [PS: Another sappy film starring Marvelous Meryl was "The French Lieutenant's Woman." BORING ! ]

  • @JackKangaroo1 Well, you have a weeeeird opinion :)

  • @76special i think it's dutch or Afrikaner

  • Africa is a continent not a country dumbass...anyways, what accent is she doing in the movie? South African?

  • she's so funny "Sabrina 95" lol

  • i read about that lion story. i had to crack up

  • I remember seeing this film when it first was released. I thought it was basically a sappy love story then and I still think it is now. Although I like Meryl Streep and I like Robert Redford, they were completely mismatched in this film and there was no chemistry between them. It was like watching two manikins going through the motions of pretending to be lovers. A highly over-rated film in my opinion.

  • just finished watching this AGAIN this morning!

luvd this film....luvd the score...luvd Meryl!!!

  • thx for sharing it :)

luv "Out of Africa",what a touching film <3
