  • The Chinese figured it out 5000 yrs ago:life is yin/yang. Positive/negative. Good/Evil. When negative things come into your life, throw positive back at it. I lost my 17 yr old son to a car accident in 2006. Adam was a fantastic kid and was the kind of kid who stuck up for the kids who got picked on in high school. He had a true golden heart with a genius mathematic mind, but died on his way to CCD class. I have no more faith in "GOD". Yoga & counseling got me thru it; not drugs or dwelling.

  • @djphongirl Really? I am the one who is an expert at logic and philosophy, and you are the one who sits around clearing your mind with yoga. They always accuse you of what they themselves are guilty of. You rejected the idea of God because you had an emotionally traumatic experience. That is understandable, but it isn't rational. It isn't a praiseworthy act.

  • @djphongirl

so by that .... 'logic' when positive comes into your life, hit that bitch with some negative.

  • So on a up beat and happy song we start bashing people for their opinions and start a religious debate. You stay classy Youtube.

  • @wadhe100 It is ok to express anger or grief, while also respecting others' right to participate in a religious faith. If it does it for you, "God speed." If not, some other expression I can't think of for agnostics/atheists.

  • @wadhe100 Hi. I don't think you are a "religious freak." I will do my best to respond here. It is fine to be Christian or any persuasion. It is also ok to be an atheist or agnostic. That said, we have to respect people's tendency to become angry at things. As a former Catholic, I understand anger at the Church.

  • @Thecrazyeditor But still we have to have respect for other peoples religions, i hope you don't think I'm a religious freak don't worry I'm not christian but we have to respect each other.

  • @wadhe100 Someone asked why a person would lose faith in God, and during such a tragedy, humans often direct anger at other things. I do not blame anything for this tragedy myself. :) The Catholic Church, though, is not the worst place to throw some.

  • @Thecrazyeditor Her son would have died whether there was a God or not. So why would you go to the extent of blaming him/her on her son's death.

  • @wadhe100 Isn't that clear? Her son died. That played a role.

  • So terribly sorry for your loss and such a beautiful song. It is angering sometimes, and I understand on some level, because I was raised Catholic and left. I am certain you know that this is not your fault and it is best to direct anger at where it belongs, which most certainly is often the Church. Thanks for sharing.

  • @pooterray yes, CCD is confirmation classes. And no, I would not be mad at public education if he died on his way to school. BUT IF I DID NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S STUPID FOLLOWINGS, MY SON WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ENROLLED IN CCD AND HOME IN BED THAT MORNING INSTEAD OF DYING IN AN AMBULANCE.
