@ellenhg45 yeah, I agree. People say if she gets her serve back she's better than she was here, but I disagree. In 2006-2008, with was arguably her peak, her serve was indeed a big weapon, but her strokes were so much more accurate. These days I'm thinking 'wtf is she doing' no purpose, just hit it hard down the middle, and the UE's coming raining down. In old matches she had way more purpose, every ball was close to a side line, I miss that.

@kimskis Err no offense but Sharapova is #2 at a time when Woznaicki is #1. Wozniacki, the pusher or golden retriever. The WTA is kinda weak right now. Her Wimbledon draw was a joke; she only had to play the likes of Cibulkova and Peng. Sharapova crumbled to Kvitova. I dont know if its that shoulder or what but Maria isnt the same.

Only Sharapova could save match points from 0-40 and other followings and manage to take the set.

@AdvertChild98 True. Interestingly enough, in the related videos you can find the 2005 Tokyo final between Vaidisova and Golovin. They we're both so great at a very young age, so unfortunate they both aren't around anymore, because they were so much better than Azarenka, Wozniacki... I really hope that the next generation like Watson, Robson, Keys, Mladenovic can lift the level again.

@gerhyuga actually maria's movement is wayyyy better than it use to be, and her serve is actually weaker than it used to be. She spins her serve in so much more than she use to. but she kinda lost that flat serve timing (ish). When i watch her matches, Maria's clocking maybe 105-110 mph max, where she used to hit about 112+. :)

sluggaclown, so now you are even trolling under Maria's youtube videos? How obsessed and pathetic person should be to devote so much negative energy and time to hating a professional tennis player? Maria is back to Nr.2 in the world with the least amount of events played in 2011...and she did this without reliable serve too. Just wait till she finally fixes that serve - you know the current tour will be fucked by her then, as nobody can match her combination of power and precision.

@kelvinpyaeko i think maria has more power now but don't know why her movement isn't good as she used to and her serve is more powerful but more double fault (her second serve is terrible) i prefer her old serve which is less power (around 102 - 112 mph) but consistent and sharp slice second serve
