This was a product I approached with apprehension...I had a bad experience with PMC...so I shied away from this product, until I cam across Crystal Wicks project online and thought, well that doesn't look to hard. Guess what it is not hard to work with at all, it is nothing like the PMC, it costs less and it doesn't dry out in a matter of minutes! I am so impressed with this stuff, I started off with it thinking well I will make a ring...then I had enough working clay to make two pendants too! have clay to spare! So let me take out the apprehension for you...try this, you will love it! - Karla Schafer

  • Thanks this video is very helpful. I actually bought some items just like this but was unsure exactly how to use it. Now I can make many other items!

  • @jkrafty586 I was wondering where the name came from :D

  • I really enjoyed this. I don't see why you couldn't use micas.

I also wonder if you could make your own "Druzy" with a more course fritt instead of glitter. It would have to be transparent to be believable. I may have even already purchased some faux myself.

  • happy new year karla!!!!!!!! i am so glad for another tutorial!!!!!!! aunties beads is awesome and you are truly an inspiration! :)

  • ohh Karla Kam, thank you for this tutorial, I bought this stuff a way back from a craft store in november and was told I needed to take course that woulda cost me $50 to learn how to use it,and yet the gloves were never mentioned nor the bees wax...tsk tsk!! I'm glad to see in juss 11 minutes of your time that you've shared I'm gonna make sumone really happy!!! and Happy New 2012 :D

  • I am echoing Fancylooks.. can you add micas to this? Or are you limited to the single color of that mix? Are there different crystal clay mixes? could you use alcohol inks or perfect pearls? Rub n buff? paints... anything?

  • Its called crystal clay b/c you can put crystals on it to create a pave look. :D

  • I was the first one to watch this video :)

Thumbs Up. I clicked on it but it hasn't shown up yet
