This was a product I approached with apprehension...I had a bad experience with PMC...so I shied away from this product, until I cam across Crystal Wicks project online and thought, well that doesn't look to hard. Guess what it is not hard to work with at all, it is nothing like the PMC, it costs less and it doesn't dry out in a matter of minutes! I am so impressed with this stuff, I started off with it thinking well I will make a ring...then I had enough working clay to make two pendants too! have clay to spare! So let me take out the apprehension for you...try this, you will love it! - Karla Schafer

I really enjoyed this. I don't see why you couldn't use micas.
I also wonder if you could make your own "Druzy" with a more course fritt instead of glitter. It would have to be transparent to be believable. I may have even already purchased some faux myself.

I am echoing Fancylooks.. can you add micas to this? Or are you limited to the single color of that mix? Are there different crystal clay mixes? could you use alcohol inks or perfect pearls? Rub n buff? paints... anything?
