I never figured out why Bert looks the way he does... We are never told about his background, besides the fact that he grew up with Ralph and Melissa. Bentley is the only other one like that.

Ah well, it just makes him more unique (and funny).

There are whole episodes here on Youtube. There is also a Yahoo group that has every episode for download. The DVD's are very hard to get, and don't have the later episodes such as this one.
