I was caught in that down-pour and I have never seen it rain so hard in S.F. Thanks for posting this.

I just made it to Civic Center station when they announce Van Ness was closing because of flooding.

I assume thats what its there for. When I got to the station it already had its new water feature. I'm just glad it wasn't sewage pouring down like what happened on 17th and folsom.
