30 September 2009: At about 6:20pm in the office, I suddenly felt dizzy... the same kinda dizziness I had some four years ago that I could never forget. I quickly looked up at the window blinds and the TV hanging above my desk. They were swinging! True as I thought, it was another tremor!
However, this time was much milder than 4 years ago. And this time I had my camera with me! So I took some videos. Too bad mine is just a digital camera, not a video camera. I could only take short videos of 20 seconds. This clip is the result of editing and joining four short clips together.
The tremor lasted quite long... about 2 minutes. My office is on first floor. Occupants on higher floors must have felt a stronger tremor. People from neighbouring office buildings were later seen pouring into the streets.
Soon I learnt that it was from a 7.9 earthquake that hit Padang in West Sumatra.
wow that was so intense
