@yfz01 Barry Sanders and Jim Brown left with a good last season so they didn't go out not playing to there full potential.Randy Moss could have at least came back and finished with a strong season.Randy Moss should come back and redeem himself.I agree though that Randy Moss is the most physically gifted WR of all time.
@jason60152 Owens is playing in a lesser league now. He's in shape, but he was no longer wanted by any NFL teams. There was zero interest. Moss retired before being forced out of the game. There's nothing wrong with that. Not every player goes until the wheels fall off. Never once heard someone say "Jim Brown went out like a punk" or "Barry Sanders went out like a punk". Moss was obviously on the downside of his career and decided to pursue other ventures after 13 (?) seasons
@yfz01 Moss didn't go out in a admiral way.He left a lot on the plate. If Moss left at the top of his game it would have been more admirable.Moss left with a terrible finish. Also Terrell Owens was still in game shape so he still has some life in him.
@jason60152 I won't give either a clear cut advantage in hands. Both made spectacular catches routinely, but neither were Cris Carter either. Moss is more athletic - taller, quicker, faster, can jump higher, etc. That isn't debatable. Moss went out an admiral way, he decided to quit on his own terms. It's not something a lot of stars do (see Terrell Owens). I wouldn't try to debate who had the better pro career, because it is without question Jerry Rice.
@yfz01 So who has the better hands between Moss and Rice? Beside the deep threat, speed, and jumping ability what else does Moss have over Rice.Moss went out like a punk.Moss had a chance to be the best but he didn't have the wheel power.I still think Moss is the 2nd best wideout of all time.Jerry Rice is like the Air Jordan of football and Randy Moss is like the Allen Iverson of football.
@jason60152 sure he did, but the situations / results were obviously not the same. It doesn't mean Rice was more athletic, because the numbers wouldn't add up. And I think Moss was the best college receiver ever.
@jason60152 That doesn't make Jerry more talented. Moss had an interception, Rice didn't. Moss had a punt return for a touchdown, Rice didn't... These are just stats. Rice had opportunities to run the ball, and he took control of them. Anyone can see who the more physically talented was.
@ProfesorChaos47 Jerry Rice is more talented because he has 10 rushing touchdowns.More than any reciever ever.Randy Moss never had a rushing touchdown.I think Cris Carter is better than TO.
