From the US Open '10 to the US Open '11, we examine the evolution of the handshakes between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic through a series of match point video clips.

No offense, of course, to Rafa or Novak, two great champions this year! Just a funny video I made for some lovely Nole fans at MTF. Apologies for the brief skipping moments.

Audio and Visuals copyrighted to their respective owners, I own nothing here, just compiled the clips and set them to music. Shout out to Windows Movie Maker for allowing me to create this video!

*9/28/11* Wow, 10,000 views? I didn't even expect to get 100, I made this for some friends as a joke, I never thought it would go viral. Thanks for watching though :)
*10/1/11* 25,000 views? Insane! Monitoring the comments sections though, the personal attacks aren't cool, so tone it down.
*10/6/11* 45,000 views. Nice! Federer/Nadal version coming within the month, keep your eyes peeled!

  • I love the part at the end where Nadal doesn't even want to acknowledge Novak's existence! Good stuff.

  • Fuckin hilarious ;)

  • cmon ppl ! allow athletes to show a bit of emotion whether its positive or negative ... of course u shouldnt be arrogant but I dont think that is the case... sport has become so polished and nobody dares to say anything negative or show anything because of bad press... allow them to show some emotions and let the rivalries get a bit edgy some times ... I miss johnny mac !!!

  • @britrob24 no ... because my whole argument was based on the fact that he was gonna continue beating rafa which he did ....

  • @britrob24 Allow me to paraphrase your thought: Yes, because of his 3rd Oz Open which he had a bit more difficulty of winning because he had one less day of rest after a 5 hour semi-final. That is the only reason it was close. Otherwise, 7 wins in a raw.... as I said. Feel free to visit after the next one ;)

  • @telmolicious

I don't care what he did he's a human being, it happens. Everyone is affected by the "best player" pressure. Do you honestly think that because a player changes his game and instantaneously starts wins everything that it automatically continues? Or that he doesn't feel defensive? No one expected him to "magically" start winning everything just because 2011 rolled around but it happened. Had he lost the final set last week I doubt you'd even have a remark.

  • @stoox006

Because he won the Oz Open which he could have very easily lost in the last set? It's been one slam.. with a CLOSE final. Seriously come off it.

  • @britrob24 hmmm ... a player being nr 1 in the world ... winning almost everything in one year letting the pressure get to him ... hmmm ... I guess it's really ur head up ur ass ...

  • @britrob24 Things obviously didn't change a lot... keep coming back for an update ;)

  • needs updating
