Hi I am thinking of getting this camera. can I upload my film with the USB cable straight from the camera to my PC? I am using Cyberlink Power Director version 8, and windows XP home.
What is UXP files please?

@LouiseTopp Sorry for the delay in responding, somehow your comment was flagged as spam and I didn't see it until just now. Yes, that's how I do it... straight from the usb cable to the PC. UXP isn't a file type, it's a setting on the camera. UXP is the highest quality you can record with this camera.

Yes, it's filmed in UXP. I haven't compressed or edited any of the footage with JVC GZ-HM445 in the title. Just uploaded the .mts file directly from the SDHC card. It's a pretty big upload that way but I have an unlimited internet account so that works for me.
