In September 2010 I flew to Europe for a conference and subsequent traveling. It was my first experience with being overseas since my injury. Come along for the ride!

  • Interesting video but I don't understand why you wouldn't research these things BEFORE going to Europe or anywhere. The internet makes it easy. (I'm using a chair too.)

  • @thelongerhours Really? What's this Google you speak of? I hear that the internet is a series of tubes.

  • wow compliments. Can you stand up with standing frame?

  • @jimmy96ify Yes, I do use a standing frame regularly. Well, as often as I can fit it into my schedule!

  • Hi I went to Holland and I am in a wheelchair and found it quite easy to get around, even the trains. But I did not know the tram cars was accessible thanks for that info :)

  • Hey David, thanks for sharing your great experiences. This kind of video is rare so it was very helpful for students understanding how public transportation accessibility is different by each country. Thank you and look forward to seeing your another trip or adventure ~

  • It's funny how Americans say they travel to "Europe", which is a continent with approximately 50 countries (27 in der European Union). Why not say "I travelled to Holland and Germany"?

Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!
