  • if Eddy was around today he would be worth £100,000,000 if Ronaldo is worth £80,000,000 for that you get a proper footballer who never dived was totally loyal during a long and distinguished carrear was never booked. The ultimate pro. Wha can you say is like that today. Eddie you are a true legend.

  • I dont know why people dont mention Eddie as one of the great players of his generation more... Even if you call us 'Dirty Leeds' you can't deny Eddie's quality, he was never booked and scored some great goals. Can someone explain?

  • Whatta Goal Haha !!! ;)

  • eddie gray woud easily show messi ronaldo how its done he didnt dive was loyal and a true athlete!

  • @claptonbrucebaker players back then had their favoured foot too, players then and now have always been encouraged to use both feet so really there's no difference in that aspect. crossing today is still used very often today, it's just because most teams these days don't have that 'big #9' like teams back then did. ball control however has gotten much better, there is much more flair in todays game. mainly because players have more space nowadays, referees are very strict

  • @claptonbrucebaker any top-flight player now could play several games a week if they wanted, but what's the point when teams have such large squads nowadays? managers can afford to rest their top players and condition them for their next match. players back then could play several games a week yes, but football was often played at a much slower pace in those days (with exceptions) so players were more unlikely to surcome to injury, meaning rest and conditioning wasn't as much of a necessity

  • @J4K31 A lot fitter yer having a laugh, they cry when they play two games a week. Most of them in the premiershit sould be running in the olympics not playing football they play on bowling greens yet can't control a ball, can't cross, most can only use one foot. There's nothing in that premiershit in the class of players like Eddie Gray, Stan Bowles, Tony Currie, Glen Hoddle, John Giles, Frank Worthington, Colin Bell, Keegan, Dllglish them lads could all use both feet, and play on mudbaths.

  • @1costakis leo messi.
