It looks comical with so many men pushing the backwards and forwards so many times, but in fairness they don't really have much room and those F1 cars don't have a much lock on their steering.
Still, Rob Smedley's face at 1:10 is classic!

The problem is the turning lock on these cars is practically non-existent. They don't have 3,5 - 5 turns before they lock like a regular car, more in the region of 1,5 turns to lock. This means they have an insanely large turning circle which means you aint doing tight turns with it. If they could have pushed it further onto the track then they'd have easily lined it up with more time to steer the car into position but that would be very unsafe while there were cars charging by.

yaa you know, F1 is a quite big and long car, and can you see the hole, it's completely very small... it must be very hard to park it in...
