The Sanyo CE-42LM4WPN-NA is a water-resistant 42" HDTV LCD monitor, built with durability in mind. The aluminum casing makes the LCD ideal for bars, outdoor kiosks, and digital signage. Its anti-reflective tamper-proof glass will provide a glare-free image even when exposed to direct sunlight.

Additionally, the monitor is equipped with a special ventilation system which protects the electronics from outside manipulation, securing it from possible hazardous material that might otherwise get through an open vent system. All these features, combined with a wide variety of input options, make the CE-42LM4N-NA a perfect solution for a wide array of commercial applications.

  • boooooring

where is the trouble making a circuit and a flat panel waterproof?

    just add plastic and gaskets

i am surprised that cellphones are not waterproof too, think about it pals

  • the liqiuid crystal display would get fucked up wouldnt it?

  • Try swimming pools or car washes where advertisements or car wash plans are shown while you're sitting in your car...

Using Winter Mode, you can even use the screen in ski resorts...

  • Trust me. That thing is IP56 waterproof and thus even protected against powerful water jets. You can believe me, because I actually happen to work for Sanyo.

P.S. There is a new IP66 which even comes with a winter mode allowing functionality even up to -20°C.

  • ..just seen a great AQUIVO video on YouTube too. They shoot a fire hose at the screen!

  • It's for the sauna.
