imagine how great this match was back in 1969 when this actually occurred, when back then all the moves were mostly locks and submission holds. Even compared to todays standards, this match rules. every up and coming wrestler should study this match.

Was it a draw or did they give it to there their man from Japan? Usually that was the way it went down. Only Bruno Sammartino would not allow such nonsense when he wrestled in their country.

Speaking from a purely technical aspect however, I totally agree with you. I think Dory Funk Jr. is the best technical wrestler of all time.
