Actually Donny Chandler didn't rape her. This is how it happened:
David descends into the cellar to find Meg tied to the bed, being raped by Willie. David tries to leave but Donny stops him. Donny steps forward, wanting to rape Meg as well, but Ruth does not want him to, considering it to be incest to have sex with her so soon after his brother. Ruth instead offers Eddie or David to take a turn with her. David declines.

I honestly think the woman should've gotten the death penalty. I honeslty cried when I seen An American crime. i don't know how I'd react if I seen this? It looks cruesome? I feel sorry Sylvia's parents who tried to make their ends meet, and their marriage. My mom showed me an american Crime, to show me the seriousness of leaving my son with anyone. such a crime!
