Does that wear out the lip of the can causing it to open? I would like to try it. Thanks.

You can open cans on concrete or any other stone surface by grinding them in circles around the ring of the can. I takes a couple minutes but works great and you end up with a can that does not have sharp edges in case you want to continue to use it later.

I like having the can openers in my kit. It saves me from dulling out my knife. In a true survival situation I could use my knife. You are correct. Just last night my home can opener broke and I wanted to have a tuna sandwhich. I just pulled the P-51 out of my survival kit and made myself dinner. It was very handy to have. Redundancy is very important. Thanks for watching.

Man this is great... ive never thought of a straw before its got so many uses! however dont ya think that the can opener is a bit trivial... in a true survival situation do you need a can opener ya already have a huge knife. just a suggestion have a great day and see you in the field!
Just saying thank you so much for the tins of mints. I got them today.

@BRAWLERBOY66 Great! I was wondering how long they would take to ship. Keep me posted on how they work out for you. Anthony.

The P-38 is a smaller one. Thanks for watching. Anthony.

yep grinds down the can, just watch for the first signs of liquid and start to try to pop the top out. I normally use a knife to get it and it leaves the can edge smooth, nice if you want to keep it around for use later.
