i was there and i took 2 of my friends to this show for the first time ....IT BLEW THEM AWAY .....if only they saw the prostock cars fun first....then they would have gotten a better idea of how fast these monsters are

@usingtheforce47 Getting there when the gates open is key. Seeing the track come to life, then the sportsman classes, then get ready for the big show. Its great fun trying to track down autographs and even parts from your favorite team. We scored a blower drive belt, a couple pistons, and a cylinder sleeve from the top fuel teams last trip out!

I have to do a 5 hours trip(460 km,285 miles)to the nearest dragstrip(hockenheim,germany) only once a year.

this year I'm planning to go there for a weekend(IF my wife allows me to),lol

@99rsk There are a lot of drag strips here, we've got two in town! What you should do is come out here to AZ when we're having one of our Nostalgia Drags. All kinds of cars, from Model A 'bangers to Nitro dragsters, and I just happen to work for the series.

@NickyFlores I keep my recommended,but there's a small problem,who's paying the trip.I like old school dragracing,the 1st time I saw topfuel dragracing was in the early 70's on the airstrip at drachten.these days it's not allowed any more to drive with topfuel or topalcohol.only some 1/8 mile alcohol demo's.

but we stil have some allison,rr-griffon and hemi tracktor pulling action(the dutch pullers are european top)and a bunch of WRCcars and historic rallying from the group B era over here.
