@princeztrouble - Silly gal, People beg me to teach their daughters and I've also taught in Australia. My dance guru in Sri Lanka was the one who said I should start teaching so please..

Yeah actuallyI have seen worst ones also, I just don't think they emphasise each step well enough. They kind of swing through each move. It's nice because its graceful. But the Song Danno Budunge song mixed with dance, that's what I can't handle. Like I said if it's to some other random song I wouldn't mind.

lol no I've been taught Kandiyan in Sri Lanka Kandy, :P my home town.
Then I taught it in NZ because most girls here are not aware of the traditional dances. I'm sure u r a good dancer and a real dancer don't say things like "I'm sure I'm better". The REAL dancers just know it :) Infact the more people know Kandiyan the better.

And finally, before someone attacks me on the God/s comment I made below - let me make this clear. Even the religious figures: Buddha, Hindu gods, Jesus, and Muhammed - who all taught non-violence, love and peace cannot help you guys. The prevailing ignorance-lead hatred is just too damn powerful! Praying to Gods for peace while planning a killing doesn't really work. One last thing, Gods do not exit - so get with the program and start working on peace!

Attention All Sri Lankans
Too bad the earlier generations, due to their ignorance really messed up things for everyone in SLK. And now, it is apparent the younger generation is contaminated with the very hate and ignorance. Put an end to it by thanking your parents for really F'ing it up for yourself and everyone else. Trust me, they will understand. Shed the ignorance, lead a better a life, fuel your energy with compassion and love. God/s cannot help with this. So take charge.
