Mike Morley, "I have many fond memories of my time spent here at Spanish Fork High School where I graduated in 1976. What an awesome experience it was to serve as Student Body President during the Bicentennial Year and to associate with the great administrators and teachers.
"Public education is critically important to our state and, as such, our founders ensured its viability by dedicating 100% of income tax paid in our state, whether personal or corporate, to its success.
Over the past three years, the legislature has increase the Public Education Budget by 41%, funding teacher raises and bonuses, increased per-pupil spending, class-size reduction, classroom materials for teachers, and increased focus on math and science to name just a few.
Based on our demographic as the youngest state in the nation per capita, Utah will never win the battle of per-pupil funding. However, we can and are winning the war of providing a quality education for every child."

Mike is running against Democratic challenger Debbie Swenson.
