its full version of Windows 7 in it. its extremely slow. for apps like email and MS office its more than perfect but if you wanna take it home and youtube and other social media this is not the tablet for you. this tablet is meant for work, not home relax game facebook youtube time.

I installed it over the weekend. At first, I was like the doubters and not sure if I would like it. But, after using it regularly, it's starting to grow on me. I really think Microsoft did a good job fusing the desktop and tablet UIs together. I this Metro will just take time like the Ribbon did for people to appreciate it.

Actually a 12.1" is good enough. I've seen people with those, and that seems to be a decent size for note-taking.

yeah.. really 10.1 screen with android but you really need a even bigger screen for windows, like 13
