Endearing video of singer/songwriter, Dean Friedman's classic 'McDonald's Girl' as recorded by The Blenders. Video produced by Kevin Holmes. Really captures the feel of the song and beautifully cast - she really is an 'angel in a polyesther uniform. ' www.deanfriedman.com www.theblenders.com www.gokev.com

  • This is from the Arby's on Isaacs in Walla Walla, Washington in 1993. I edited together some video of us screwing around with the video camera and added the Dean Friedman song. The Blenders' version sounded better (audio quality) then any bootleg I could find from BNL, so it fell right into place.

  • 2 me its not that good or funny

  • I don't know what's more pathetic, this guy asking a drive-thru fastfood cashier out or a guy who asks for a date from a 1-800 operator.

  • Well, you finally managed it!

  • The song McDonald's Girl was originally written & recorded by Dean Friedman in '81. The song appeared on Friedman's 3rd album, Rumbled Romeo & was officially banned by the BBC. Besides the Blenders, it was covered by the Barenaked Ladies. To hear Friedman's most excellent ORIGINAL version, listen to it on the Audio page of deanfriedman dot com

  • Well made!! U could've fooled me by saying this was a clip from a movie!!

  • A great song! Amazing how Dean can make a burger sound so spiritually uplifting. What's for desert?

  • the lack of dean friedman stuff on this site amazes me

  • I am a lifelong Dean Freidman fan, even if I can't spell his name. I missed the chance to stop and say hi to him when we were both playing the Edinburgh Festival recently. This vid is great, but, hey ,wo, tell you what, where are Ariel, Lucky Stars and Well Well Said The Rocking Chair?

Be next year's UK number 1 CD, tell your management to have a word with themselves, Dean, baby, and let's have a great 2007.
