I studied Pai-Lum years ago and I am looking for a version of Dancing Dragon so that I can review. Do you have that? This looks nice. Thanks!

As a true Hawaiian fighting man said to me years ago..."If your here looking for Johnny kick your ass, you'll find him." My Sifu told me that Dan was considered to be "A fighter on an island of fighters." After living here for 9 years I am just beginning to understand what that really means. Aloha and much respect to Dan.

Wow!!!
I'm so happy to find Lum Pai on here....
I never got to meet him but he taught my father, who has been a teacher for White Dragon for a Looong time..... I regret not learning more from him (I only studied for a few years).....

I've only heard the stories from my sifu about him It would be so amazing if he were around today to see his art in person.

I am a friend of Dans brother, John. I never had the honor of meeting dan (im 21), would've loved to. Such a powerful person. Great respect for everything Dr. Pai did for everybody.

Dr. Daniel Pai was one of World Champion Cynthia Rothrock's teachers. Big respect.

Ms Honey,
I see some Chen taiji in his movements...do you know if GM studied that at any point?
Respectfully,

I had the intense honor of studying with great grandmaster Pai, was his student at the time of his passing, am his student in heart and mind now. I see a lot of disparraging comments, inside and outside of the family, I remember he taught us all different forms towards the end, why? He wanted his family to live on, come together, and share his knowledge. If you follow the threads, everyone is passionate for DR. Pai, but you can easily follow the path to where his heart is grown for the future

I am an outsider who has never studied Pai Lum before. .well.When I was 14 yrs old in summer camp I met a guy who did and he taught somethings. in exchange I taught him an advnced Japanese kata. My point is as an outsider I can still appreciate Dr. Pai's contributions to the martial arts world and mourn his passing. When he operated locally outvof Reading Pa with George Dillman he did some demos on local TV which are fond memories.
A great tribute to my master, Dr. Pai---PLease post more!!! He was one of the finest martial artists of the 20th century.
