From the Low Temperature Lab: A student's description of his summer research while working at Ithaca College during the summer of 2007. This work was done at our collaborator's lab in the Center for Superconductivity Research at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. We grow thin films of superconducting materials via pulsed laser deposition and then characterize them via ac magnetic susceptibility.
