@seg162 Awww that takes the fun out of shipping. Shipping is supposed to be fun, not just rigidly applied to what creators set it as.

@nievestwi It's called canon. Some people (myself included) hate when someone makes a non-canon shipping.
This fanbase takes it to an EXTREME when they actually TRY TO EXPLAIN their pairings (with flimsy-ass support), and persist even as the series progression practically makes non-canon pairings damn near impossible.
And it doesn't even count as "Everyone is Jesus in Purgatory"; it's just plain perversion of the creators' intent. Even the CREATORS aren't too fond of the shippings.
