that was too sad. I met him when I was 20, 10 years ago to be exact. I'm mexican and I saw him giving a "show" in an amusement park here. I can't believe that those beautiful animals are taken away from their natural homes to give stupid shows. those shows should be banned.

if you would really love whales i don't think you would agree to let them in captivity .. they should be free

killer whales are family oriented animals and do not strike unless provoked ...remember that!

in real life he lived in a dark shallow tank and a while later he was free

i grew up with the love of killer whales, mainly from the movie free willy. it showed me the amazing killer whale and how beutiful and majestic they are and if you ever watch free willy i dont think i will ever be able to replace kieko as one of ur number on killer whales. he was the only killer whale to have the three black dots underneath his chin so therefore you automatically know he is a special whale. and the orca being spectacular as it is it should be FREE!!!!

I totally agree. I love how Keiko is known for his marks. Even though every orca seems to have something different about them, I think Keiko's three dots are the best known amongst orca fans.

What a beautiful video of Keiko and free orcas. Keiko was the orca that changed my life completly and I love and miss him terriably but he died a free orca:))
