Thats exactly what I'm saying. Some drivers however neglect that and force there way into an intersection. Yielding and having the right of way are two different things in this context. I can drive my cruiser into an intersection but the driver on my right at the intersection driving 70k has the right of way because he cannot stop safely in time. Thats what I'm trying to say. Cheers!

i repeat, in sweden the EMS drivers HAS the right because i´ts the LAW to yield, but every driver whats so ever know that you should slow down in an intersection

No EMS vehicle has the right to demand the right of way. However it is the law as a driver to yield to them. As a EMS driver assuming you have the right of way and failing to let oncoming traffic yield is asking for an accident.

perhaps in canada the emergency vehicles do not have the right to demand the right of way, but in sweden it´s the law to give the right of way, maybe it would be better to have it that in more countries
