Hey folks!
That song doesn't really fit into my cover collection but it's a great hit and it's really fun to play, though it ain't very difficult.
I hope you'll like it,
LSP

  • u not as bad as the last one that i just listened but your still shite

  • that's old shit dude. watch the new stuff.

  • sometimes even songs that looks like quite simple at first sight are very difficult to perform, i suggest you not to understimate this kind of songs. The song you played lacked totally of groove

  • your absolutely right.

now i know about the difficulty of that one.

    perhaps i'll re record it.

  • ..is it your personal version? 'cause sounds far away from Marillion version...this is not a cover I mean.

  • yeah something like that i think. a cover always sounds different from the original..

but you're right. it's more like a personal version.

  • No good !

  • Playing the way you do on this song is like having sex with a dead whore. It used to be groovy and fiery. You made it sound as bland as being given water when all you need is a stiff drink. *sigh*

  • Nice set with nice toms, why you don't use them at 1:42 ;-)

The original hi-hat is quite difficult to play, it's not straight.

I love this song too, emotional lyrics and great groove, as you said, great fun to play!

    Keep on playing!

  • well played, ian would be proud..!

  • great...

but the you mast on the 2.page in the original play on the ride not on the crash

  • Great!

  • Pretty decent cover but you overplayed the bass a lot. The song works better with a simpler bass beat. :)

  • mate you should give this song a few more listens to. you have based your playing mostly around the bass drum part and are playing too many doubles .listen to the hi-hat part, it's not straight. learn the hi-hat part and play it with the tip of your stick. it's a mellow tune. get the basic rhythm down pat and don't even try any fills until then. put it together like a jigsaw. moseley is a good drummer to learn from, he has great technique. good luck :)
