In most towns death has no schedule...but for an average of 16 persons per year, dates are scheduled a head of time -- dates where someone will be executed by lethal injection in the small town of Huntsville.

This unique documentary interviews three death row inmates as their executions draw near, following them as they cope with imminent death. One inmate, who has a UK girlfriend, has his hopes for a reprieve quashed at the last minute and faces a 6pm deadline with death.

Exploring both sides, we find out how those administering the sentence became involved in the process of execution, and how the residents of Huntsville feel about their town being synonymous with state-sanctioned death.

  • @ShaolinDragon9 No, they're not good at all. They allow the defense attys to lie their asses off and they do not give all the facts of the crimes or their criminal history. It's just sugar coating murderers. I suggest you use google scholar and read the case opinions.

  • " This is America, they ARE ENTITLED TO THEIR VIEWS"....... umm what has this old man been smoking lately

  • @kevinwinstonshen Absolutely... but it applies to mostly black people. After all if you are white you can get away with it, but if you are black you will not. Statistics do not lies and if you go through those executed, rarely do you see a white person being executed for killing a black person

  • 1st guy i see he shouldnt be their 2nd guy WTF he should be their 3rd guy ok should be their

  • An eye for an eye, makes us all blind. . .

  • You look at these institutional food bloated murderers and listen to everyone of them explain their innocence or mitigate their part or blame someone else for their horrible drug fueled deeds. Then I look at the photographs of the innocent victims and then I listen to these pricks explain why they don't really deserve the sentence legally given them by an elected judge. Fuck them and fuck the pro-life bastards who honestly cannot give the public a good reason to abolish the death penalty.

  • This is an amazing documentary....mostly all of these documentaries on National Geographic are very good.
