Gen manipulation isnt evolution, because evolution is a natural change that every single living being suffers, and it doesnt necessarily means progress, genetic manipulation is the way men changes the gens in plants to make them more drought resistent, for example, as you can see its not the same. When i said a million years i meant that, that is the time that took that ancestor to become a human, actually evolution occurs all the time, its not an inmediate process.

I'm talking science here not religion. Are you religious? I can show you enormous similarities between the bicycle, horseless carridge, Model T, DARPA's autonomus AI robotic cars and Sp. and Opp. robots on Mars but they did not evolve from each other. Humankind designed them that way.Evol.means change so gen. manipulation IS EVOLUTION.

@kdc43 Science cannot show this directly because it takes a million years, actually i could use the same argument and say that no one has seen god creating humans, but on the other hand, science has proven the enormous similarities between humans, apes, and chimpanzee, by the way. What human does to different vegetables and animals its genetic manipulation, which is not evolution.
